Tough Economic Times Call for a Healthy Workforce

Iselin, NJ (PRWEB) November 17, 2008 -- Kingley Health, the largest health and wellness provider in New Jersey, announces the launch of its corporate division. Leveraging the success of its consumer program, Kingley Health is now offering services to companies looking to reduce their healthcare costs, improve staff productivity, and reduce absenteeism and presenteeism. The current economic climate is the ideal time to introduce or expand a corporate wellness program designed to deliver a tangible return on investment given the inexorable rise in healthcare costs.

According to a 2008 AP-AOL survey, the current tough economic times and rising costs of living seem to be leading to increasing stress and resulting health ailments such as heart disease, orthopedic ailments, depression and anxiety, and digestive problems. This will accelerate the increase in health care costs just when most companies are looking to cut expenses in a recessionary environment.

Jay Kingley, founder and CEO of the Kingley Health observes that "It is imperative that corporations invest in the health and wellbeing of their most important assets - their employees. Competitive advantage in a knowledge economy is dependent on staff at all levels operating at peak performance. Our health and wellness programs get employees healthy, energetic, and physically and mentally capable to get the job done. We expect that our corporate health and wellness programs will offer financial returns in excess of 300%."

Corporate programs will initially be offered near Iselin, Piscataway, Toms River (NJ) and in Syosset, NY. Barbara Taylor, a marketing executive with 20+ years corporate experience in healthcare, consumer and business services has joined the team to lead this effort.
